Venison Meat Loaf

1 lb ground venison (we do our own so it is very lean)
1 egg
1 tbsp yellow mustard
2 tbsp no high fructose corn syrup ketchup
1/4 cup oats
Cajun Seasoning
Salt/Pepper
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 medium yellow onion; diced
3 mushrooms; diced
2 tsp garlic; minced
EVOO
1/2 tbsp no high fructose corn syrup ketchup
1/2 tbsp yellow mustard
1/2 tbsp Ideal brown sugar
A few drops of water
 
  1. Saute the onions, mushrooms, and garlic with a little bit of EVOO
  2. Once sauteed, mix all ingredients except for the last 4 ingredients in a mixing bowl
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and prepare loaf pan with cooking spray
  4. Dump meat mixture in loaf pan
  5. Mix last 4 ingredients together in small bowl and top meat loaf with this
  6. Cover with tin foil
  7. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour until done.
